even weirder

I had encountered even weirder things using my old keyboard. Everytime I type the letter "i", the typing cursor will jump to the starting point again. Even worse is when I type the capital "I", it'll highlight the whole paragraph and the moment I type the next letter, the whole paragraph will be gone! So whenever if I'm not careful and not paying attention while I type my assignments, I always ended up with the sentences after the letter "i" being typed to the starting paragraph and also sometimes ended up wiping off everything I've typed. This is really WEIRD. icon_question.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

Do these weird things still happen if you plug in and use a different keyboard?

Welcome to the world of Yahoo. Every version they have put out has had new errors. Check your config to see if the shortcut keys are turned off or changed

I used to have this problem with an old keyboard I had. Turns out that windows was causing the problem... I discovered that it had inadvertantly set the keyboard settings to Dvorak... so nothing I hit came out the way it was supposed to... not one of my prouder moments. icon_redface.gif
