yep ok here´s the thing. I have WesternDigital 80 Gb Se ATA100 Hard disk. Im trying to get the most out of it and the best score I got in SiSoft Sandra 2003pro was 31 mb/s. But I only got that score one time. But now
after doing everything that I can think off like, installing AAI and the intel inf drivers, defragmenting the disk I cant go over 20 mb/s. What can it be? Has anyone out there got any other tips in tweaking the HD? If so, than lets share it.

Don't trust the SiSoft Sandra 2003 *benchmark*. If you want to bench your hdd, better go with HDTach for a start.

Wow. Tanks for that fancy program. I like it a lot. I get 39 mb/s read speed in it but only 13 ms RAT .
