Hardware: Intel resumes shipments of Pentium 4 with 800MHz bus

Intel Corp. Monday said it has lifted its hold on shipping the new version of its Pentium 4 that uses an 800MHz processor front side bus and is delivering the chips to customers.

A spokesman said Intel has provided a motherboard BIOS update that will stop a small anomaly that was discovered during final testing.
