Hewlett-Packard’s (HP) recently-launched 17-inch wide screen notebook, the Pavilion zd7000, is being manufactured by Taiwan-based Quanta Computer, sources said.
Weighing about 9.3 pounds, the notebook uses a display manufactured by LG Philips LCD, sources said. It also comes with a 3.06GHz Pentium 4 desktop processor supporting Hyper-Threading Technology, a 533MHz FSB (front-side bus) and up to 2,048MB of DDR SDRAM (2×1,024MB).
