TerraTec presents the 7th sound dimension: with the HomeArena TXR 884, the Nettetal-based manufacturer of multimedia hardware lets users convert any computer into a powerful surround-sound home theater and gaming system that can hold its own with professional equipment. This 7.1 speaker system is also a compact and stylish surround-sound solution for multichannel DVD audio formats such as DTS, Dolby Digital or Dolby Pro Logic. The HomeArena TXR 884 will be available at the end of September.

The HomeArena TXR 884 is a 7.1 SpeakerSystem that offers a lot more than just classic surround sound: its powerful subwoofer and seven satellites create a 360° audio environment. With a frequency range of 18 Hz to 22 kHz and a powerful 84 Watt RMS the active SpeakerSystem delivers convincing results in the low-bass range with a varied middle range and crystal clear highs. It also offers optimum support for sound standards like DTS, Dolby Digital and Dolby Pro Logic.

The systems ConnX.1™ technology guarantees optimum audio results-regardless of whether the HomeArena TXR 884 is connected to a simple sound card or a high-end X.1 system. And thanks to SurFE™, the system can also reproduce 5.1 audio source material in 7.1 surround sound.
