THERMALTAKEŽ CORPORATION today introduced their newest brand: TR2.
With the addition to their current line of high performance Thermaltake thermal solutions and processor coolers, TR2 is said to be focusing on a more price conscious market segment while still providing the service and performance users come to expect from Thermaltake.
"TR2-branded CPU coolers and peripherals will serve this market, the fastest-growing segment in the Thermal Industry, with products combining style and function at a low price point" said Michael Lee, Thermaltake Marketing Director.
Thermaltake elected to introduce the new TR2 brand as a compliment to Thermaltakes current product family and so that it can manage the two distinct brands effectively. "With our current highly experienced engineers, we are able to produce and design cost-effective solutions that will bring appealing products to a rapidly emerging market driven by decreasing overall cost," said Vic Chan, vice president and general manager of the Retail Product Division.
TR2s first products will compete in the low-end CPU cooler market, a segment which Thermaltakes current line of ultra high-performance solutions does not have a significant presence. TR2 is now available in United States and Europe.

TR2 products will carry the endorsement "Designed by Thermaltake." This logo is included on all TR2 products to indicate that the product is built on proven technology.
