nVidia Expands Market with Toshiba design win

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA - News), the worldwide leader in visual processing solutions, today announced that the Company's mobile graphics processing units (GPUs), including the GeForce(TM)4 440 Go and GeForce4 420 Go, are now available in value and performance notebooks from the Computer Systems Group (CSG) of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. With this announcement, NVIDIA mobile GPUs now power systems in the Satellite line of notebooks ranging from Toshiba's ultimate multimedia machines, the Satellite 5100 series, to the value segment's Satellite 1400 series.

The GeForce(TM)4 420 Go mobile GPU has been selected for Toshiba's Satellite 1415-S173; Satellite 1410-S173, and the Satellite 2410-S203 notebook PCs, announced today. The GeForce4 Go family of GPUs features a revolutionary core of integrated technologies including advanced power saving techniques, a dedicated video processing engine for the industry's best DVD and video playback, and an ultra efficient memory architecture. Delivering awesome performance, the GeForce4 Go satisfies the multimedia requirements of today's most demanding consumers.
