Online retailers posted up the first information today on the upcoming "Volume 2" of the Xbox Live Starter Kit, the box you need to buy to play online games on your spanking-new Xbox system. The new kit is much the same as the first—it comes with the Xbox Communicator headset and a free 12-month subscription to Microsoft's Xbox Live service.
The main difference is in what games you get with the pack. The starter disc (with ReVolt) and the demo version of Climax's MotoGP are still included, but Whacked!, apparently, is outta here like Vladimir. In its place is a demo version of MechAssault and the full version of Tetris Worlds, released by THQ for the Xbox last summer. In other words, you get the headset, two full games and two demos for $49.99. Neat.
The new starter kit will reportedly be available in stores beginning this month. Check with your own shop for details.
