RECENTLY saw several Nvidia partners who were touting their new Personal Cinema solutions and these new products will bring you a nice remote, and a new external tuner that will be plugged into DX 9 cards this time round.
It was about time that Nvidia made this product work on some other API than DirectX 7. That was because of the Geforce 4 MX that was the only solution until recently and this card was definitely not good enough for most of the gamers, especially these days.
The new remote control introduced couple months ago is identical to the one that ATI uses for its ALL in Wonder series for some time -- except it's a different colour.
FX 5200 and 5600 will give you reasonable speed that will be good enough for most users, certainly in the case of the 5600, and nice video features are always welcome.
We reckon that Creative Labs will announce its Personal Cinema any day now.
As for the price and exact availability, these aren't yet available.
