Software: Computex Taiwan rescheduled for September
Posted on Wednesday, May 28 @ 12:17:30 CEST by ninad

General

IMPORTANT COMPUTER show Computex, which was postponed because of an outbreak of the SARS virus in Taiwan, has been rescheduled for the 22nd of September.

The organisers of the show say that they will go hell for leather to advertise the rescheduled show with an advertising and marketing blitz between now and then.

The show normally takes place in early June but was called off after most US and European firms placed bans on staff travelling to the Far East.

But there's been a big outbreak of SARS in Taiwan since the postponement, and the organisers must be crossing their fingers that everything will be fixed by September.

The show is scheduled to run between the 22nd and the 26th of September in Old Taipei.
