Winamp5 is finally released with its own great updateset like some wasabi engine but it takes less resources and it has support for other languages. So there's nothing much I can do in this release. However, you need to set it yourself and some users may not know how to do that. This tool will help you make it support other languages with all skins, with skins fonts included and only Tahoma for player font. Special presets also included. As I told you before, there's nothing much but there's also something I can do for all you people out there.

Lawyers representing the entertainment industry and file-swapping companies will meet in Pasadena, Calif., on Tuesday as a federal appeals court hears the first arguments in a case likely to shape the future of online file swapping.
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals is reviewing a lower court decision made last spring in which a federal judge ruled that distributing decentralized file-swapping tools such as Grokster and Morpheus was legal, and that their parent companies bore no legal liability for copyright infringement occurring on those networks.
The ruling was a surprise setback for record labels and Hollywood studios, which had previously won rulings forcing Napster and other file-swapping companies to close, and had expected the same result against Grokster and Morpheus parent Streamcast Networks. Those companies, now defending their win in the higher court, say the issue is bigger than their products, or even the file-swapping industry.

Microsoft is further clarifying the confusing situation with DirectX naming conventions. Read on to be enlightened or just even more confused...
There are two components of interest to people with each DirectX release. There's the Software Development Kit (sdk) with debugging .dlls for programmers writing applications using DirectX . Then there's the retail run time, which are the APIs games and programs use.
DX 9.1 refers to the SDK release called "DirectX 9.0 SDK Summer Update 2003" (which ships with the DX 9.0b retail runtime)
DX 9.2 refers to the SDK released called "DirectX 9.0 SDK Summer Update 2004" (which at this time also ships with the DX 9.0b retail runtime).

DirectWIRE is ESI's amazing software that allows you to virtually patch all of your digital audio internally between various software programs. In this latest version, support for patching hardware inputs and mixing multiple audio streams at the inputs has been added.
When utilizing DirectWIRE 3.0, you are able to work with hardware inputs and the driver's internal software interfaces simultaneously, which was impossible thus far.
Using version 3.0 you can, for example, apply reverb on the microphone input using NSP (another feature of the Prodigy), mix the resulting stream with output from Winamp, and stream the result live on the Internet using SHOUTcast technology! All this is done on a single sound card, and the only physical wire is needed to connect the microphone to the card.
Another unique possibility is to record 6 channel sound source from a DVD player application in the recording application of your choice. And because the process is done in the digital domain, there is no loss in quality!

Lead product manager in Microsoft's Windows division Greg Sullivan told internetnews.com that e-commerce Web sites that send clear text for authentication will return an "invalid syntax error" on Web pages once a user applies the IE patch.
That's because the updated browser will remove support for handling user names and passwords in both HTTP and HTTPS (define) URLs. The withdrawn support for clear text authentication effectively provides a workaround for the URL-spoofing flaws that are commonly used by scammers to mask fake sites and trick users into giving up sensitive information including credit card and social security numbers.
