Anonymous writes "A sokoban game - you must move a cosmic sphere around a game board in outer space moving star blocks. Its trickier than it sounds and with 375 other bizarrely shaped levels, it gets trickier still. Youll need to be at least one step ahead of yourself throughout the game, as one wrong move and youll find yourself stuck.
Great 3D graphics run fast even on weak machines.
Like all great puzzle games, its easy to learn but difficult to master.

If you are a Hardcore Character player, please use caution when entering Nightmare and Hell level games - we will not be able to resurrect your character if you underestimate your opponents. The 1.10 Patch is finally out and the only way to update it from 1.09 to 1.10 is using the build in updater in the game. This wont work at the moment because Battle.Net servers are totaly overloaded. I get a standalone updater from Blizzard for serving.
Check it out!
Note: This executable requires the Expansion pack "Lord of Destruction".

The Inquirers friends in the USA have just reported that the upcoming Doom 3 will be capped at 60 frames per second (FPS) and no more and less then that.
This may come as shock simply because we believe that there are only a few cards that can do so many frames. A friend got the idea that this means that there will be no benchmark for Doom 3 but we are quite sure that it will be some kind of Timedemo, as this is a game tradition. The only question is, can you actually override its settings to make it run more or less then 60 FPS?

"Short but sweet" is a good way to describe 2001s Max Payne, as well as its newly released sequel. Actually, the main difference between Max Payne 2 and its predecessor involves more of the circumstances under which the games arrived than anything existing in the games themselves. The original was victim to multiple development delays and spent years in the making, but, despite being a relatively brief experience, it was a thrilling, stylish, violent action game that was ultimately worth the wait. The sequel, on the other hand, was announced just months ago and hit store shelves on exactly the day it was supposed to. This new Max Payne, billed as "a film noir love story," was certainly worth the wait too, though this time, the wait was brief. As long as you go into it without expecting a dramatically different--or longer--gameplay experience than the original, Max Payne 2 wont disappoint. On its own merits, its a stunning shooter thats got a bit too much plot and is over too soon, though its still incredibly intense and, by all means, worth experiencing....

Games: Half Life II code stolen, delayed until April 2004! :(
Posted by Adek on Tuesday, October 07 @ 16:13:28 CEST
PARIS (Reuters) - The theft of part of its source code has delayed until April 2004 the launch of "Half Life II," the hotly anticipated alien-hunting game of Vivendi Universal Games, a company official said.
"A third of the source code was stolen," VU Games president of international operations Christophe Ramboz told daily Les Echos in its Tuesday edition. "Its serious because it forces us to delay the launch of the game by at least four months, that is to April 2004. Just the time to rewrite parts of the game."
According to Les Echos, a hacker broke into the e-mail of the games developer, Gabe Newell, the founder of Valve Software, and planted a spying program.
